MILAN – Following a shareholders meeting on Tuesday over videocall, a decision has been made not to recapitalise and to liquidate Air Italy, as stated in an official Air Italy statement.

ROME – The UFI Global CEO Summit, an event bringing to together around a hundred CEOs and presidents who organize the most important trade fairs in the world, ended in the Eternal City on Friday. 

 Thanks to the summit, these 100 leaders of the exhibition sector were able to see for themselves how Rome, its territory and the country can be an ideal destination for the event market. 

 During this meeting, the participants analysed the best strategies and opportunities in the sector, assessed trends and defined long-term objectives.

ROME – On Friday Chinese government officials voiced their displeasure at the suspension of flights to and from China, with the closure of flights between the Italy and China having been signed off by Minster of Health Roberto Speranza on Jan 31, according to diplomatic sources. Relations have been particularly strained since Thursday, when a miscommunication occured in a meeting between Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Qin Gang and Italian Ambassador to China Luca Ferrari.

ROME – At the Teatro Arciliuto on Thursday, the New York experimental performance artist Edgar Oliver delivered a thought-provoking spoken piece called ‘In The Park.’ Mr. Oliver mostly performs in venues in New York, but was in Rome for an event organised by The English Theatre of Rome. The second of two performances was to be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
