ROME - Two protestors who had been held on trial for their alleged involvement in a Fascist demonstration have been cleared by the Supreme Court on final appeal ad judges rules that making a stiff-armed salute was not a crime if done only for "commemoration." The two had reportedly made the fascist salute in an event organised by the far right Brothers of Italy party in Milan in 2014.

ROME - The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and Sudan signed a financing agreement worth dlrs 47.5 million that aims to improve the country’s resilience to climate change and raise household incomes.

 Sudan’s economy remains heavily reliant on agriculture, with nearly half the population depending upon the sector and related industries for their livelihood, according to IFAD.

 Indeed, in recent times the capital has been rocked by so-called “bread protests,” triggered by the Sudanese government’s latest austerity measures.

The characteristics of an Italian Style, absolutely typical of the beers brewed along the peninsula, are now also permanently recognized by the “Beer Judge Certification Program” (BJCP), the international non-profit association whose members are tasters and judges of competitions dedicated worldwide to this beverage. This result has been achieved by “grape ales,” i.e. those with a direct connection with grapes, whether white or red, with the must, which investigate the frontiers between hops, malts and grapes.

 Particular attention will be paid to providing an impressive passenger experience and the expansion of flight options, including the introduction of new destinations, and expanding its domestic and intercontinental services.

ROME - ClientEarth and Greenpeace Italia this month sent a legal letter to the Lazio Regional authorities giving them 60 days to start working on the adoption of an effective plan to bring down illegal levels of air pollution – or face court action.

 The two organisations highlight the failure of the authorities to come up with an effective plan to deal with nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and particulate matter pollution (PM10), which are still at illegal levels in Rome and across the region respectively seven and twelve years after limits were introduced.
