ROME - Interior Minister Matteo Salvini launched a new attack on Jean-Clean Juncker Wednesday insinuating that the President of the EU Commission was “not sober” when he criticized Italy’s budget plans.
“This gentleman is the head of government of 500 million Europeans, a gentleman who comes from a tax haven such as Luxembourg,” Mr Salvini told Channel 5’s morning chat show, Mattino Cinque. “If you Google ‘Juncker sober’ or ‘wobbly’, you’ll see some impressive images.”
