TREVISO – A 20 year-old man was stabbed to death and several others were wounded when a noisy stag party attracted the umbrage of knife wielding neighbours in Treviso in the Veneto region, police sources said on Monday.

 A quarrel escalated to violence after residents complaining about the noisy celebration called the boys outside.

 Neighbours attacked the party-goers with knives leaving one man dead and seven injured. Three men were admitted to Cà Foncello hospital in a serious condition.

 Police and emergency services were unable to revive the 20 year-old man, who died at the scene.

 It is believed both the victims and attackers are originally from Eastern Europe.
