ROME -- An 18-year-old girl has died and a 17-year-old girl remains in hospital after a scooter accident in a street on the outskirts of Pavia. Police have said they are not treating the incident as suspicious.
TURKU -- The Turku Music Festival, founded by the Musical Society of Turku in 1960, is set to open its 2024 edition on 8 August with an interesting musical proposal curated by artists from Florence.
ROME -- Investigations are still ongoing after a coach of tourists crashed on the A1 on Sunday, killing one Chinese person and leaving two others in a critical condition. Italian highway patrol, as well as Arezzo's public prosecution office, have said they have opened an investigation into what caused the collision.

ROME -- The show, TLAPITZALLI Rites and Sounds of Ancient Mexico, curated by Frida Montes de Oca Fiol, will be on display at the Scuderie del Quirinale from July 30 to September 15.
A collaboration between the Ministry of Italian Culture and the Ministry of Mexican Culture, the show is promoted by INAH, the National Institute of Anthropology and History of Mexico. The exhibit celebrates 150 years of Diplomacy between Mexico and Italy.
ROME -- After chaos in recent weeks on Italy’s rail network, from broken down trains to hours-long delays, new construction work is likely to cause further disruptions until September, Trenitalia has said.
From August to the start of September, further disruptions are set to affect both local and highspeed railway lines due to maintenance work. The local routes will span Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, and Lazio. The affected routes include the Milan to Rome, and the Milan to Venice high-speed lines, as well as the routes to Switzerland.
