 ROME - Ulbaldo Manuali was sentenced to 9 years and 10 months for rape by impersonating American actor Keanu Reeves on social media in order to lure women. Between Sept. 2022 and Jan. 2023 the 60 year old garbage collector raped two women in the Viterbo area and one woman in the Frosinote area.

;ROME - 2024's Tiramisu' World Cup, hosted this year in Treviso from Oct. 10-13, was an Italian competition with an international reach. 

 240 contestants, 30% of which hailing from abroad, battled it out to win one of the two competitions aimed at celebrating the delicious and versatile nature of Italy's favourite desert. Nadio Ceoldo, from Salzano, was victor of the 'original recipe' category, which challenged competitors to make their best traditional tiramisu' from only six ingredients: eggs, sugar, mascarpone, savoiardi, coffee and sugar.
