ROME – The family of Margaret Spada, a 22-year-old who fell fatally ill during cosmetic nose surgery on Nov. 4, and whose surgeons are currently facing accusations of manslaughter, were awaiting the results of an autopsy set to be conducted on Friday, judicial sources said.
Spada booked her cosmetic surgery at the practice of father and son team Marco and Marco Antonio Procopio after seeing an advertisement on social media. Il Messaggero reports that the young woman found the practice’s account and offers when scrolling through TikTok.
