ROME - A 19-year-old boy was stabbed to death in the early afternoon around Tortona station, Piedmont, where a fight broke out over an electric scooter. 

 The victim was attacked by a man who wanted to steal the electric scooter, which the victim was riding. 

 A fight then broke-out which allegedly involved three people. 

 A 24-year-old Moroccan national was stopped but his role in the affair is still being investigated. 

 The victim was identified as Ange Jordan Tchombiap, a young Cameroonian migrant, who was only born in 2005.

ROME – The Regional Assembly of Sicily, have voted to impose a ban on the devices on all digital devices for children under the age of 5, with parents, who allow their children to use smartphone or tablets, risk of a fine of 100 to 500 euros.

 The issue was a bi-partisan one, which now awaits the formal approval of parliament before it can go ahead with implementing the ban, which given the unanimity of the vote on Wednesday afternoon, ought to be granted.

ROME – Chiara Ferragni, the digital entrepreneur and former fashion favourite of the likes of Dior’s Maria Grazia-Chiuri, has been indicted on charges of alleged aggravated fraud, judicial sources said Thursday.

  The indictment comes following the so-called ‘Pandoro Gate’ in which Ferragni sold a limited-edition Chiara Ferragni branded pink pandoro in collaboration with the food company Balocco in 2022, as well as the ‘Preziosi Dolci’ Easter eggs of 2021 and 2022, according to the sources quoted by Fatto Quotidiano newspaper.

ROME - Three violent robberies were carried out in less than 24 hours between Termini and Esquilino in a recent investiagtion by il Messaggero.

  One involved an attempted strangling, another with punches to the face and the third culminated with a brawl inside the Oppio Caffe, in front of the Colosseum, just to get away without paying for a drink. 

 The police so far have arrested three of the alleged robbers, who were all very young and had arrived in Rome but a few days ago after crossing the Mediterranean Sea from the coast of North Africa.
