SARAJEVO – Italian artist Luigi Ballarin is in the Bosnian capital for the first time with the "Magnificent Architectures" exhibition. The exhibit is being hosted by the Gazi Husrev-Begova Madrasa , with the contributions of the Embassy of the Italian Republic in Sarajevo. It will be exhibited at Gazi Husrev-Begova Hanikah between April 28 and May 12, 2022.

In the exhibition curated by Beste Gürsu, we will see how Luigi Ballarin meticulously build thin bridges between the roots of western and eastern art. Ballarin merges the traditions and cultures that are common of civilizations and transfers them to his canvases. Throughout his artistic life, he strengthened his art and the connections he established with art using the pluralist and multicultural structure between the East and the West.

After the "Magnificent Cultures" exhibition held at Qatar in 2020, which he express the cultures and civilizations he was nourished by; he is now holding the "Magnificent Architectures" exhibition for the first time in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

This project sets an example for intercultural dialogue bridges established between three different cultures as the artist is Italian and the curator is Turkish, coming together in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Luigi Ballarin's "Magnificent Architectures" exhibition; hosted by Gazi Husrev-Begova Madrasa, supported by the Embassy of the Italian Republic in Sarajevo, IKASD Istanbul Intercultural Art Dialogues Association and Tabularasa Transnational Art was meeting with art lovers on April 28 in Gazi Husrev-bey Madrasa and Gazi Husrev-bey Hanikah

The exhibition can be visited between April 29 and May 12 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
