ROME - Italy have announced that AstraZeneca vaccinations will restart throughout the country from Friday after the European Medicines Agency (EMA) ruled that there were safe to be administered. 

  France, Germany and Spain have all also announced that they will continue the AstraZeneca vaccinations, while Norway and Sweden are waiting another week for the results of more studies by the EMA.

  A statement from Palazza Chigi reads, "the Italian government welcomes with satisfaction the announcement from the EMA on the AstraZeneca vaccine. The government's crisis remains carrying out as many vaccinations as possible as soon as possible."

  The EMA have excluded any link between the vaccine and thrombosis after several deaths were reported of those who had just recently received the vaccine.
