TREVISO – Roberto Industria Alimentare has signed a partnership deal with the 2021 Alpine Ski World Championships in Cortina to be the Regional Supporter. 

  Roberto, which since 1962 has produced breadsticks, piadine and many other types of bread, will be a sponsor of the 2021 Championships, taking place from Feb. 7 to 21. 

  The event, which will be held on La Marmolata, a group of mountains in the Dolomites known as La Regina delle Dolomiti, has always embodied the positive values of the sport, such as tradition, authenticity and friendship - the same values with which the Roberto brand has always identified.  

  Roberto Industria Alimentare exports in more than 40 countries worldwide and will be present at the event with their products offered to the athletes, VIPs, journalists and staff, and will also be found in the Tofana and Druscié lounges.  

  Marta Canzian, president of Roberto has said, “the collaboration with Cortina 2021 is born from a desire to promote the sport, as well as giving a sign, to the athletes, organisers and volunteers, of an event with a global outreach, that will be held in an area of great fascination, not only for the Veneto, but for the whole of Italy.” 

  Valerio Giacobbi, managing director of Fondazione Cortina 2021 adds that, “sport is a vehicle for important values, without forgetting that a healthy diet is at the base of every success, competitive or not.” 

  The Roberto brand will be in view throughout the whole event on all venue banners and will be a unique opportunity for high altitude promotion visible to the whole sporting world, company officials have said.
