March 19, Sant'Onofrio Church, 7pm
AUR sponsored The Amazing Grace Gospel Choir will perform its fourth fund raising concert on Monday, March 19, towards its USA project: “From Gregorian Chant to Gospel Music.”

Inspired to grow and improve its artistic skills, the Amazing Grace Gospel Choir is planning to tour the USA in 2012, on the occasion of the annual American summer Gospel Festival. This tour will not only allow the choir to have direct contact with the origins of gospel music, but also to exchange experiences with other gospel choirs among Afro-American and International ones. Also, with the intent of creating a cultural and artistic exchange between Italy and the USA, the Amazing Grace Gospel Choir will present in the US a repertoire of sacred Christian Music, tracing the history of its early development from Gregorian Chant, originating from the Catholic Church, and eventually giving rise to Gospel music. The choir is giving its all to this ambitious project.

The Sant'Onofrio Church has around 100 seats. Doors will open at 7.00 pm and entry will be on a first-come-first-serve basis, against a free donation.
