ROME – Juventus secured a 34^th Serie A title, their seventh in a row, with a 0-0 draw against Roma on Sunday. Napoli defeated Sampdoria 2-0 in Genoa, although recent dropped points leaves the champions out of reach with just one game to play.

 Juventus celebrated at the Stadio Olimpico for a second time in five days after sealing the Coppa Italia on Wednesday night.

 Massimiliano Allegri, who has been heavily tipped to take over at Arsenal following the departure of Arsene Wenger, also confirmed his commitment to the Bianconeri on a triumphant day in the Italian capital.

 “If they don't fire me, then I think I’m staying at Juventus next year too,” he said.

 Allegri boasts an outstanding record as Juventus manager, having claimed every domestic trophy available during his four-year tenure.

 Only two points separate the five teams who will lock horns in a relegation shoot-out this weekend. Chievo clinched an enormous three points away to Bologna after falling behind to an early penalty. Second-half goals from Emanuele Giaccherini and Roberto Inglese sent the Gialloblu flying up to 14^th place, and they now face bottom of the league, Benevento, to secure safety.

 An unlikely victory for Udinese brought an end to their miserable 14-game winless run. Antonín Barák’s first-half goal was enough to avoid their drop into the danger zone, but Igor Tudor’s side still face a nervy decisive fixture against Fiorentina on Sunday.

 Crotone, who slipped to 18^th position, did manage a point against Champions League-chasing Lazio, but the result may prove insufficient as they conceded a late equaliser through a Sergej Milinković-Savić strike. Last week’s loss to Chievo appears increasingly costly with the Calabria side preparing to face Napoli to determine their Serie A future.
