Metro strike in the city centre

ROME - The city is set to expect delays as all trains along the A, B and B1 metro lines are not running during the strike from 8:30-12:30am. Whilst the C line is continuing as normal, main sources of transport to tourist attractions like the Vatican or Colosseum have been put on hold. The strike, proclaimed by the trade union USB, was originally intended for 24 hours, but shall now only run for this 4-hour limited period of time.
The Lido and Termini Centocelle lines are running but there may be some delays as fewer trains may be supplying the network. The mobility agency of Rome has also warned that buses and trams may be running less frequently, and informed of possible suspension of lines.
