ROME -- The Commonwealth Club of Rome has announced Monday that the guest speaker to their next event on Nov. 28 will be the British Ambassador to Italy H.E. Jill Morris, who will address attendees on the topic -- UK & Italy: a renewed partnership for a post-referendum Britain.

 Ms Jill Morris CMG was appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic and Her Majesty’s non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of San Marino in succession to Mr Christopher Prentice CMG. Ms Morris took up her appointment during July 2016.

 The Venue for the speech / aperitif will be the spectacular Terrace of the Savoy Hotel - Via Ludovisi, 15 Roma, starting 5:45 p.m.

 Established in 1947, the Commonwealth Club of Rome has been a forum where members from Commonwealth countries and others can meet and exchange ideas of common interest. The Club has hosted many events with prominent guest speakers addressing issues relevant to Commonwealth countries active in Rome. The club is a branch of the Royal Commonwealth Society.
