Famous Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival set to wow

Festival held at the stunning Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo

 MONTE CARLO -- Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo shall open its doors to the eleventh edition of the famous Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival, paying homage to traditional Jazz and proudly displaying new talent in six spectacular nights of musical celebration, Nov. 24 to Dec. 3.

 Attended by the biggest international names in Jazz, you cannot miss Angelique Kidjo, the great African voice, who presents her show ‘Eve’ on Nov. 27 at 6pm.

 From Nov. 29 to Dec. 3, every night beholds a contemporary star with a modern twist on Jazz, such as Manu Katche, Richard Bona and Ibrahim Maalouf. Other new talents include Alrelle Besson, Sarah Lancman and the quartet of Alune Wade and Harold Lopez-Nussa.

 A special evening is dedicated to Robert Charlebois, whilst Madeleine Peyroux presents her album ‘Secular Hymns.’ This year also offers the exciting addition of a casino and other extraordinary features, such as an evening with the band Funk Off, Mike Sanchez and other musical delights.
