Romans amongst most dissatisfied with own city

ROME -- Latest figures from a Eurostat study show that the inhabitants of the Eternal City fall amongst those who are least satisfied with their own city.
The capital of the Bel Paese in fact falls into the penultimate place in the rankings, determined by its very own inhabitants.
The only capital in the European Union to top Rome in levels of its inhabitants’ dissatisfaction is Athens.
In 18 of the EU capitals included in the survey, at least nine out of 10 declared themselves satisfied with life in their own city.
The highest levels were recorded in Vilnius, Lithuania’s capital, where 98 percent of inhabitants professed satisfaction. Both Stockholm and Copenhagen boast levels of 97 percent satisfaction.
The lowest level was the Greek capital with 71 percent satisfaction, followed by Rome with 80 percent.
The levels fell below 90 percent in 10 EU capitals.
