ROME - The great prayer for peace in Burundi will be held Monday evening in the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere. Burundi an African country that has been shown in recent years, the possibility of a peaceful coexistence between ethnic groups and the different parties, now is likely to sink into a civil war.

  Despite a very difficult past, citizens of Burundi were able to live in peace. Now the balance in the country is in danger and we can not ignore it and turn a blind eye in the face of a very serious humanitarian crisis

  The conflict in Burundi has already caused 200 thousand displaced people who are overwhelmingly tired of the war and daily violence.
