More books, more free

Rome - "More books, more free", the national fair of small and medium publishing, is back from 4 to 8 December 2015 at the Palazzo dei Congressi (Eur, Rome), with its 14th edition: 300 events in five days of meetings, conferences, panel discussions, readings, performances and workshops. Among this year’s guests, various foreign authors, such as Annie Ernaux, Stéphanie Hochet, Nelly Alard; and Italian ones, like Erri De Luca, Andrea Camilleri, Niccolò Ammaniti and many others, totalling some a thousand speakers.
The Lazio region, with the Departments of Culture and Youth Policy and Economic Development and Production Activities, supports and participates in the Fair with a program of initiatives and events. During the fair, the regional minister for culture Lidia Ravera will participate in a series of public meetings with journalists, writers, intellectuals and actors to discuss culture, publishing and cultural policies. The stand of the Lazio Region will host daily meetings with associations winners of the announcement I read 2014 and Cultural Institutes of the area that will illustrate their activities and promote their initiatives with the public visiting the fair.
An Off program precedes the exhibition, 15 days before the event. Until early December, the Region launched the project ‘To read’, a classic in the libraries of Lazio.
