Four arrested in Casalesi clan raid

CASERTA — Four people have been arrested in a raid against suspected leaders and facilitators of the Casalesi clan, especially in the group of Michele Zagaria.
The raid was carried out at dawn by the Carabinieri of the ROS (Special Operations Group) and the police squad of Caserta.
Amongst those arrested were the sister of the boss, Gesualda, and an architect accused of building a bunker for the clan, Carmine Domenico Nocera.
They are accused of mafia-type conspiracy, aiding and abetting, false registration of goods, stolen goods, stolen goods and other offences.
The two other people arrested were a nephew of Michele Zagaria, Filippo Capaldo, and Francesco Nobis, accused of aiding and abetting.
