Threat disrupted ahead of U.S. Papal visit

WASHINGTON -- The United States has already "disrupted" a threat ahead of Pope Francis’ visit due to start in 10 days time.
The news was announced by the Chairman of the House Homeland Security, Michael McCaul. Whilst he offered no details, on ABC’s This Week, he said "I'm concerned. I was briefed by the Secret Service in a classified setting. The pope is a very passionate man. He likes to get out with the people. And with that comes a large security risk.”
"We are monitoring very closely threats against the Pope as he comes in to the United States. We have disrupted one particular case" McCaul said. "But as that date approaches, I think we're all very vigilant to protect him as he comes into the United States.”
Pope Francis is going to visit New York, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia over the course of his trip later this month.
