Italian companies to build in Middle East and Eastern Europe

Rome - The PMI (national association for small and medium business) and ANCE (national construction agency) have outlined that they are seeking to create growth for Italian construction companies by increasing their opportunities in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
A group chaired by ANCE president Gerardo Biancofiore will visit Abu Dhabi and Dubai next month in order to improve relations and increase opportunities for Italian construction companies in the Middle East. Sig. Biancofiore called it “A great opportunity for our sector.”
Other Eastern European countries have been identified by Sig. Biancoforte as fertile grounds where small and medium sized construction businesses can operate. Subsequent trips will visit Hungary, Romania, Albania, Czech Republic, Romania and Slovakia.
At present the UAE has a Growth in GDP of 4.0%. The Construction secotor currently accounts for 10% of all growth – a figure which is set to rise throughout 2015.
