Turkish Embassy celebrates National Day

ROME- The Turkish Ambassador to Italy, H.E. Aydin A.Sezgin, played host to hundreds of guests at a glittering reception to mark Turkey’s national Day.
Senior Italian diplomats and members of the Turkish community in Italy including members of the Turkish cinema industry and Turkish students attending Italian universities were among the guests at the Embassy, one of the oldest and most elegant diplomatic buildings in Rome.
During the reception the Ambassador read to his guests a message from Turkish President Erdogan for the National Day including Turkey’s concern over the plight of trapped Turkish coal miners.
The Ambassador, who arrived in Italy in September to take up his post in the Eternal City after serving as the Turkish Ambassador to Moscow and previously head of Turkish Foreign Ministry’s Research and Intelligence department as well as serving in posts in embassies in Geneva, Baghdad and Paris, where he was the Consul-General.
