Venice police find global child pornography network

 VENICE – More than 50 pedophiles were identified in Italy and in 11 other countries following a vast operation conducted by the Department of Postal Police and Communications of Venice.

 Police said that the investigations lasted for months and surrounded a circle of pedophiles all around the world. They carried out 23 arrest interventions in the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France, Belgium, Poland, Mexico, Argentina, Russia, Spain, Czech Republic, and Italy.

 Police searches were conducted in at least 10 Italian regions where investigators found hundreds of gigabytes allegedly containing images and videos of child pornography.
