ROME – Following the arrest of 51 year-old photographer Furio Fusco for child prostitution and child pornography on Tuesday, police have started to investigate child prostitution on a larger scale-it is alleged that Fusco also arranged private meeting between underage girls and CEOs of Rai and Mediaset.

 Police believe that Fusco wasn’t the only one involved in the photography of under aged girls. According to sources, Fusco also arranged sexual encounters between his models and wealthy businessmen, including directors of Rai and Mediaset, the most watched TV channels.

 However, police believe that other people, including some of the older male models, are involved in acquiring the underage models. Telephone records confirm meetings between Fusco's models and wealthy Roman businessmen.

 Apart from the four girls who have already come forward to investigators, police identified at least six others. Police are now trying to determine whether or not Fusco, besides taking nude pictures, was solely behind the organizing of sexual encounters between the girls and wealthy men.

 One of the oldest models is also being investigated for having simulated sexual intercourse with an underage girl in front of Fusco’s camera, police said.
