Bob Dylan returns to Rome with phones under wraps

ROME-- Bob Dylan brings his Lights of Autumn tour to the Palazzo dello Sport on Thursday, with one firm condition for his audience, phones must remain sealed away during the performance.
The 85-year-old American singer songwriter is due to take the stage in Rome, following Monday’s concert in Milan and ahead of Bologna on Thursday.
In Milan, Dylan’s 18-song set included “It Ain’t me Babe”. “Tangled Up in Blue” and “False Prophet”, before closing with “I shall Be Released”, according to his official website.
Promoter D’Alessandro & Galli says concertgoers will keep their phones with them in locked pouches, which can be opened in designated areas if needed. Photography and audio and video recordings are strictly prohibited.
The organizers say the policy is intended to help audiences concentrate on the music, and describe it as “mandatory and non-negotiable”.
