Donatella Versace returns with youth focused fashion and beauty brand alongside Revolve

Rome— Donatella Versace is returning to the fashion industry with a new independent brand created in partnership with Californian ecommerce giant Revolve, marking her first major creative venture since stepping down as creative director of Versace after 27 years.
The announcement comes on the eve of Milan Fashion Week and signals a new chapter for the celebrated Italian designer, whose latest project will initially focus on beauty before expanding into fashion. The brand is aimed primarily at younger consumers and will combine Versace’s creative vision with Revolve’s global digital platform.
In a post shared on Instagram, Donatella said the collaboration would allow her to speak to a new generation “in a new and personal way through fashion and beauty.”
“I believe creativity should be courageous, inclusive and alive in the world,” she wrote. “I have always been inspired by younger generations through music, cinema, art and, of course, fashion. Revolve understands a principle I believe in deeply: culture is born from connection.”
The move follows her departure from the iconic Versace house, which is now part of the Prada Group. The luxury label is absent from this season’s Milan Fashion Week calendar after the recent appointment of Belgian designer Pieter Mulier as its new creative director, a role he assumed in July 2026.
Revolve’s leadership described the partnership as a long term investment rather than a traditional celebrity collaboration. Mike Karanikolas, the group’s co founder and co chief executive, called Donatella “one of the most important creative voices of our time.”
“Combining Donatella’s creative authority with Revolve’s technology, infrastructure and global reach gives us the opportunity to build something truly distinctive from the ground up,” he said.
Raissa Gerona, Revolve’s president of brand and partnerships, added that Donatella possesses “an extraordinary instinct for what the next generation wants” and a unique ability to connect fashion with contemporary culture.
While few details have been revealed about the collection or launch date, the partnership is expected to debut in the beauty sector before evolving into a broader fashion label. For Donatella Versace, it represents both a return to creative leadership and the beginning of an independent venture shaped for a new generation of consumers.
