Italy summons Russian ambassador over Moscow attack on Mattarella

ROME - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, has summoned the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Italy to protest against the inclusion of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and other institutional figures of the Italian Republic in a list of alleged “Russophobes”. Minister Tajani considers the inclusion of the Head of State in this list to be a provocation against the Republic and the Italian people and offers his institutional and personal solidarity to President Mattarella.
