Foreign sports correspondents honoured by AIPS

Mourad Rouighi, Ana Quiles and Dundar Kesapli collecting their AIPS awards

 ROME – Algerian journalist Mourad Rouighi and his Spanish and Turkish colleagues Ana Quiles and Dundar Kesapli have received coveted awards for their professionalism from an ad hoc jury of the International Sport Press Association (AIPS) and the Italian Sports Press Union (USSI), the USSI president Gianfranco Coppola announced.

 Messrs. Rouighi and Kesapli collected the awards for their coverage of football and other sports for Arab and Turkish media together with the statuesque Ms Quiles, who also was honoured by the AIPS for her high quality reporting.

 The trio have all worked in Italy for a number of years during which they developed an encyclopoedic knowledge of the complex Italian football scene.
