 NAPLES-During the Archeoclub press tour Friday a repurposed yacht formerly used for smuggling people was repurposed to help troubled youths learn a new vocation and provide them with a path away from a life of crime. The cruise took place in the Phlegraean Fields, a large volcanic area west of Naples that continues to show intense seismic activity.

ROME - Two more priceless artworks were discovered in the private collection of the controversial politician, Vittorio Sgarbi, as reconstructed by Il Fatto Quotidiano.

 Sgarbi was forced to quit his job as Cultural Undersecretary after accusations of cultural theft this past January, now the politician is dealing with the law again. Authorities have confiscated two previously missing paintings that were in his collection.

 ROME – A civic education teacher in Venice has received scorn from officials as high up as the Education Minister after condemning a fly-over display from the National Tricolour Arrows.

 In Venice on Nov. 4, as part of Armed Forces Day celebrations, the sky was painted green, white and red by the contrails of Italy’s Tricolour Arrows, whilst the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella watched below.

 ROME - A 15-year-old girl was found suffocated to death in her home in Piazza Armerina, in the province of Enna, police have said. The body was tragically found by her mother returning from work at around 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 5. The ambulance doctor did everything they could to resuscitate her for over half an over, but unfortunately their efforts came to no avail.

 ROME - The Carabinieri have executed four arrest warrants for the murder of the mayor of Pollica, Angelo Vassallo, on Sept. 5 2010, police have said. Vassallo was killed after he was shot by nine times as he drove home from work.
