The "Pope's week" will be broadcast on Saturdays at 12:32 pm and Sundays at 5:30 pm.

VATICAN CITY – The Vatican Radio will relaunch and inaugurate a weekly radio news bulletin in Latin and a broadcast dedicated to rediscover the Latin language in collaboration with the Latin Letters Office and the Secretariat of State.

According to Il Messagero, the news bulletin will be called “Hebdomada Papae, notitiae vaticanae latine redditae” (Pope's week, Vatican newsletter in Latin) and will present the Pope’s weekly activities.

The five-minute transmission will be broadcast on Saturdays at 12:32 pm and Sundays at 5:30 pm, also available in podcast format at the Vatican News multilingual information portal with translations available.

The news bulletin will be later associated to the broadcast "Anima Latina, Radio colloquia", which will promote the value and beauty of the Latin language. The broadcast will be edited and conducted by Fabio Colagrande and will include curious translations of modern terms to Latin in the papal social media accounts, Latin idioms, mottos, proverbs and terms still used daily.
