AirItaly and Finnair sign lease agreement for A330 aircraft

ROME - Air Italy has just finalized an agreement to sub-lease one of its Airbus A330 aircraft to Finnair, Finnish flag airline. The sub-lease contract will last approximately three weeks, from Friday Oct. 12 to 31.

 Chief Operating Officer of Air Italy, Rossen Dimitrov, said, "we are delighted to be able to provide our services to Finnair. The fact that a successful airline like Finnair chooses plane and Air Italy personnel demonstrates a high level of confidence in our new fleet and product."

 Finnair’s long-haul aircraft was damaged at Chicago airport last month when a high loader accidentally hit it. With this Air Italy contract, Finnair will operate its flights to Chicago normally, while the damaged aircraft is being repaired.

 Air Italy is an Italian airline fully owned by AQA Holding, 51% Alisarda and 49% Qatar Airways, with its headquarters in Olbia and main operating base in Milan Malpensa. In March 2018 the Company started operation as Air Italy. PM
