PWA January conference: Prof. Petrie to talk on Brexit

Professor David Petrie with British Ambassador to Italy, Jill Morris, CMG.

ROME -- Professor David Petrie, an affirmed opinion leader in the Expat-Italian community, shall discuss his insights into post-Brexit implications at the January Conference for the PWA, the Professional Women’s Association in Rome, on Jan. 18 at the Grand Hotel Palace of the Eternal City.

As stocks plummet and gold rises, Brexit means business model, regulatory and taxation changes, supply chains, free movement, education, foreign direct investment… For many businesses, making the best of Brexit may be the biggest strategic challenge to face in the next decade.

Prof. Petrie teaches at the University of Verona and is chairman of ALLSI, Association of Foreign Lecturers in Italy, an independent trade union and pressure group which represents non-Italian lecturers working in Italian Universities, championing the motto: “Equal citizens, equal rights, equal treatment.”

Conference 19.30hrs to be followed by a networking cocktail. Register on site: http://www.pwarome.org/events/brexit-an-empty-chair/
