Juventus hit record 26 home victories with win over Bologna

TURIN -- Juventus football club, Serie A, is seemingly invincible at home, enjoying a record of 26 consecutive victories on home soil since beating Bologna back in Oct. 24, 2015.

The Juventus 3-0 win against Bologna Sunday night, yet another match triumph at home, increased the record to 26 victories -- not a surprise for many sport analysts, as January is historically one of the best months for manager Massimiliano Allegri, always keen to kick-start the new year on a good note.

It appears the Juventus Stadium, the Italian league’s only major club-owned stadium, changed the history of the ‘Bianconeri’ (Black and Whites), along with the beginning of the Antonio Conte cycle. Certainly, since Sept. 11, 2011, nothing has been the same for Italian football.

Between friends, Juventus are simply unbeatable -- it took them a year and a half to lose a match for the first time, and in total they were defeated only three times out of 105 games.
