VATICAN CITY – “Deep emotion” was expressed by Pope Francis in the wake of the Berlin massacre Monday, claiming it to be a “terrible act of violence.”

 In a telegram written on behalf of the pope, signed by the Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, and addressed to the Bishop of Berlin, the pontiff claimed that "the murderous madness of terrorism no longer finds room in this world.”
