ROME -- A permanent, full-time position as D6L) has become available at the British Embassy in Rome. UKRep Rome is looking for a motivated individual with a demonstrated understanding of multilateral working, development diplomacy and programme management skills to join the small UKRep Rome team in covering a range of high profile issues. This is a demanding post which offers lots of variety and challenge. You will be expected to represent DFID’s and the UK’s views and policies externally. You will be required to work closely with representatives of other member states and staff in UN agencies at all levels. The Deputy Permanent Representative will have a particular focus on IFAD and FAO.
