ROME -- Prayers for victims of the attack in Lahore on Easter Sunday, whilst families were out for evening walks in the city's Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, as well as for peace in Pakistan will be held on Tuesday evening at 8pm at Santa Maria in Trastevere. This had been organised by the Sant'Egidio Community in Rome. The Community will unite in pain for the victims of the Lahore attack, which targeted for the most part women and children from the Christian minority, as the bomber detonated near the children's play area on Sunday evening, whilst many Christian families were celebrating and relaxing together. For these reasons all are invited to participate in the prayers for peace in Pakistan, which will take place on Tuesday evening (this evening March 29) at 8 p.m. in the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere.
