Italy hosts Lagos diplomatic jazz night

 LAGOS-- The Blues & Hills Consultancy and The Consulate General of Italy in Lagos, through the Consul General, Andrea Pompermaier, hosted a Diplomatic Jazz Night at the residence of the Consul General in the Nigerian capital on Saturday.
 Among those attending were the Deputy High Commissioner of Canada, Mr. Arendras Lajos, The Consul General of France, Mr. Laurent Polonceaux, The Consul General of Germany, Mr. Ingo Herbert, The Consul General of Ghana, Okubi-Appiah Kwabena, The Consul General of Spain, Octavio Augustin Una Rodrigue, Aboyeji E Iyinoluwa and many more.
 International soul jazz artiste, Orliam headlined the concert alongside Yoruba acid jazz artiste Dapo and 20 year-old guitarist, John Bethel.
 Blues & Hills Consultancy was founded in 2011 by Nigerian writer, filmmaker and professor, Onyeka Nwelue, to promote African arts and culture in Asia, Europe and America. 
 The Diplomatic Jazz Night is supported by The Consulate General of Italy in Lagos, The Italian-Nigerian Festival of Cultures, The Lagos International Jazz Festival, Smooth FM, 
FredMartins and La Cave Musik.
