MIAMI – Paolo Pininfarina, the automotive and interior designer, has this month seen the opening of his latest creation, the 1100 Millecento Residences in Miami. The Related Group, which funded the project, held a rooftop soirée to both honour their designer and celebrate the completion of such an impressive project.

Pininfarina is perhaps most well known for his work with Ferrari, one of the great bastions of the Italian supercar industry.

In recent years his designs have been used for such models as the 458 Italia and the iconic Ferrari California and the designer has also worked for Alfa Romeo and Maserati in the past.

The designer’s latest project has involved something a bit different however, with Millecento Residences, Pininfarina’s first high-rise interior design project.

The skyscraper comprises 42 floors with amenities including a theatre, billiards room and the obligatory swimming pool. All floors enjoy stunning views across the city skyline and the Biscayne Bay and guests at the cocktail evening were able to take in the unique views from the poolside, rooftop terrace.
