"Grandma Diabolical" devastates quiet Roman province

ROME - The quiet street of Via Vito Giuseppe Galati, in the scenic Roman province of Colli Aniene, was recently rocked by explosions, caused by the woman known as “Grandma Diabolical”.

Giovannina Serra, a small, unassuming woman, has been accused of blowing up an entire apartment building with canisters of gas, upon receiving news that she was to be evicted from the apartment in which she had been residing in for the past 20 years.

Despite her age, 80 years young, and non threatening appearance, and having owned three other properties in conjunction with the apartment she would decide to destroy, Ms. Serra is accused of maniacally plotting her vengeance against the building from which she had been evicted with the cunning of ruthlessness of even the most seasoned terrorist.

Upon hearing the news she was to be evicted after not paying rent for a substantial amount of time, Ms. Serra rented another apartment, again in spite of owning three other properties in Rome, in the Tiburtino province.

Three days after renting her apartment in Tiburtino, Ms. Serra is said to have planted gas canisters in her prior building and igniting them, causing substantial damage to the building, leaving one dead, and twenty wounded.

The owner of the property in Tiburtino quickly received word of the news and soon realized that he was harboring the unlikely terrorist in his building, contacted authorities and unsurprisingly, evicted her from her new apartment.

"I do not want her to come back," the landlord told police. "The public safety must be guaranteed. Better safe tenants than afraid tenants.”

Ms. Serra, now in custody, and despite what authorities say is conclusive evidence against her, has maintained that she is completely innocent.

"I was framed! I have sewn on the dress of the culprit. How could I blow up everything and run away? I'm too old.”
