European Central Bank President visits Finland

HELSINKI - Mario Draghi, President of the European Central Bank, is visiting the Bank of Finland from 26 to 27 November 2014 in response to an invitation from Bank of Finland Governor, Erkki Liikanen.

 The visit constitutes part of the regular cooperation between the European Central Bank and the Bank of Finland.

 During his visit, President Draghi is due to meet Prime Minister Alexander Stubb and Finance Minister Antti Rinne. He will also visit the Parliament of Finland.

 President Draghi will deliver a speech, at the University of Helsinki on 27 November 2014, on the European economy, after which the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions. The event will be held in English.
