Two fundraising shownights for Ukrainian ‘Artists at Risk’

ROME – Eight international musical theatre performers have decided to host two nights of dazzling entertainment, first on Monday April 11 and then again on Tuesday April 19, to raise funds for Ukrainian artists affected by the ongoing war. The proceeds from the evening will be donated to the ‘Artists at Risk’ association.

Monday’s performance will take place at the cool and atmospheric Ellington Club in Pigneto, while the show on Tuesday 19th will be hosted in Lo Spazio Theatre, just a two-minute walk away from San Giovanni metro station.

The artists on stage are among the greatest interpreters of Italian and British musical theatre, having featured in broadway classics such as Singin’ in the Rain, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, School of Rock, Wicked, Peter Pan, Hairspray, and more. They are ready to share their art for a single goal - solidarity.

The evening will be a succession of musical numbers, songs, and dances, with time for conversation with the audience. The artists present will be True Dragon, Mark Biocca, Giuseppe Brancato, Simona Di Stefano, Sergio Giacomelli, Emma Gordon, Billy Mitchell, Serena Olmi, Flaminia Fegarotti, Jesus, and Scarlet Martini.

Admission is free but booking is required. Reserve your space by contacting +39 392 1110282 or sending an e-mail to info@ellingtonclubroma.com

Donation is optional but of course recommended, the suggested amount to give is 15 euros.
