CESENA – A bus carrying Ukrainian citizens fleeing from war overturned while travelling at 101 k.m. per hour, just before 6:45 a.m. Sunday, resulting in the death of one female passenger, a 32-year-old mother, said Il Messaggero.

 The cause of the accident, which happened on the A14 between Cesena and Valle del Rubicone towards Ancona, is being investigated.

 Some of the 22 passengers left the scene independently or were picked up by acquaintances, others were taken to hospital by the emergency services or to the Forlì traffic police headquarters for identification.

 The vehicle has a Ukrainian license plate and probably left directly from the country at war toward Pescara.
