Poetry reading at Keats-Shelley House

ROME- The Keats-Shelley house, located by the Spanish Steps, is to host a talk on Saturday June 9 at 4pm by Keats House London poet Laila Sumpton during which she will read some of her most inspiring poems.

 Laila, who is a student in Human Rights at the University of London, has worked with various NGOs and often uses her poetry in her campaigns. She is currently putting together her first pamphlet and has been documenting the memories of war survivors in Bosnia. She has run poetry workshops for young people at museums in London including the London Transport Museum as well as the Geffrye Museum where her work is currently being showcased in the ‘At Home with the World’ exhibition.

 The museum's normal entrance fee applies, and refreshments will be served after the reading. You are recommended to reserve seats before arrival by sending an email to: info@keats-shelley-house.org
