  Edward Mukiibi, the president of Slow Food explained, “To really be part of the plan and live in harmony with nature, as stated in the claim of this International Day for Biodiversity, we have to confront climate change head-on and be serious in changing its course.”

STOCKHOLM — The freight and passenger shipping company Finnlines has recently made major investments in its services between Sweden and mainland Finland via Åland, by introducing two new Superstar freight-passenger vessels Finnsirius and Finncanopus. 

 Finnsirius, which has been praised for its smart and elegant design and many services, was deployed on Finnlines' route in September 2023. The second Superstar vessel, Finncanopus, was introduced in Stockholm and set off on her maiden voyage from Kapellskär on 16 February 2024.

 ROME – The diplomatic community has been stunned by the apparent suspension ‘pending investigation’ of the respected director of communications at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in a mysterious saga evidently linked to the Gaza war between Israel and Hamas, diplomatic sources say.

 “IFAD is a fiunancial institution relying on financing from key donors and is very vulnerableto interventions from Arab countries,” one Rome-based diplomat told the Insider crypitically. He did not elaborate.
