Acaia Medical Centre celebrates successful launch

Cinzia Leone and Maria Rosaria Omaggio

ROME-- The Acaia Medical Center, specialising in aesthetic preventative medicine, launched last week with the event, AcaiArte, a soiree featuring a permanent art exhibition. Carmela Mara, Michele Pisano, and Caterina Pasqua will run the centre, along with a team of distinguished professionals.

The event marked the opening of a permanent exhibition space, Art Medicamente, which will play host to some of the most talented painters, sculptors and photographers. Cinquantino Lab, an idea lab by Maria Antonietta Cardea and Daniele Scarponi, is in charge of the artistic direction. Every month the artists exhibiting in the space will change, providing an enriching and stimulating environment to better facilitate the cures offered by the centre.

Until April 15, the space will exhibit Alessandra Capolei, Maria Antoinetta Cardea, Silvia Faieta, Paola Garofoli, Miriam Guerrieri, Arianna Matta, Ivan Paduano, and Daniele Scarponi.

Gabriele Imbimbo performed a DJ set and there was a surprise recital from the violinist and entertainer, Andrea Casta.

Paola Garofoli from Constyle provided tasteful floral decoration, and the chefs from Al Events exclusive catering, Riccyard De Rose and Emiliano Lopez, offered gourmet fare, ranging from mini Mexican wraps with tomato salsa to mille-feuille with Chantilly cream and forest fruits.

The event took place thanks to contributions from Teoxane, Merz, Allergan, Zeltiq, Alma Lasers, Caromed and Canova-Pergam.
