Fashion show in Rome aims to challenge conventions and redefine contemporary style

Fashion meets identity and innovation at Fashion Unlocked – Oltre le regole. Dentro il cambiamento in Rome.

Rome – A collective fashion show bringing together emerging designers, inclusive casting and immersive visual storytelling will take place in the capital next week as part of Rome Fashion Path.

Titled Fashion Unlocked Oltre le regole. Dentro il cambiamento, the event will be staged on 13 May at Jo&Joe Roma at 6.30pm, presenting what organisers describe as a fashion experience that goes beyond the traditional runway format.

Rather than focusing solely on garments, the show aims to explore fashion as a form of identity, storytelling and cultural transformation, with the catwalk conceived as a space for experimentation and creative expression.

Five brands will present collections during the evening: Alessandra Saroli, Bekora, FrangeCouture, MelaWedding and Sertorian. Organisers said the collections combine tailoring traditions with aesthetic experimentation, dissolving conventional distinctions of style and gender in favour of more fluid forms of expression.

The models appearing on the runway will come from Modelli si Nasce, an association promoting a broader and more authentic representation of beauty and individuality within the fashion industry.

Photography and visual storytelling for the evening will be curated by Reveal.fotografia, with the event designed to merge fashion presentation with performative and narrative elements.

Organisers said the project seeks to position fashion not only as an aesthetic exercise but also as a space for cultural reflection and new forms of contemporary expression.
