Lviv Insider, sister paper to Italian Insider, launches in Ukraine
LVIV – Seventeen years after the start of the Italian Insider in 2009 our new sister digital newspaper the Lviv Insider www.lvivinsider.com has launched online aimed at creating a bridge between Ukraine and Italy and the Mediterranean.
Our home page articles include reports from beleaguered Zaporizhzhia and Kyiv as well as Lviv, or Leopoli as it is known to Italians.
We report on how Venice is helping to save Lviv’s world heritage cultural monuments and how another Italian volunteer was killed fighting for Ukraine with news about the Italian chefs in Kyiv restaurants who have refused to leave their businesses.
Our pages also feature the 23-year-old Italian woman pilot serving with the International Legion and dispatches from Georgia about how the tourism industry on the black sea is dealing with the Russian threat to the country and the influx of Russian dissidents escaping from conscription into Putin’s meatgrinder army.
