Protest outside U.S. embassy in response to Iran attacks

ROME--A small protest gathered on Monday outside the U.S Embassy on the Via Veneto over the attacks on Iran by the U.S. and Israel that began on Saturday. The protest was a mix of Italians, Iranians and other nationalities.
Protesters condemned the assassination of Iran’s leader Ali Khamenei, holding up pictures of the fallen leader and Iranian flags as part of the demonstration. The protesters called the attacks unjustified and expressed solidarity with Iran.
The U.S. embassy of Rome posted an alert on their website warning of the demonstration. It is yet to be known if more demonstrations will take place outside the embassy, however it is likely.
At least 555 people have been killed across Iran since the U.S-Israel strikes began, according to the Iran Red Crescent Society.
