Madonna urges Pope Leo XIV to 'bring light to the children' of Gaza.

VATICAN CITY - Gaza cannot wait any longer. This is the message Madonna sent to Pope Leo XIV. The pop star posted a message on her social media profiles on her son Rocco Ritchie's 25th birthday. ‘Politics cannot influence change. Only conscience can. That is why I am looking for a man of God,’ wrote the singer of ‘Like a Virgin.’

'I feel that the best gift I can give him as a mother is to ask everyone to do everything possible to help save the innocent children caught in the crossfire in Gaza. I am not pointing fingers, blaming or taking sides. Everyone is suffering. Including the mothers of the hostages. I pray that they too will be released,' she continued before addressing the Holy Father directly.

‘Holy Father, please go to Gaza and bring your light to the children before it's too late,’ Madonna began in her message. The pop star, who has always been committed to humanitarian and social causes, writes from the heart to put an end to the genocide in the Gaza Strip. As a mother, she asks Pope Leo XIV for immediate intervention: ‘As a mother, I cannot bear to witness their suffering. The children of the world belong to everyone. You are the only one who cannot be denied entry. We need the humanitarian doors to be fully open to save these innocent children.’ The singer argues that the Pope himself can be instrumental in saving those souls who are suffering: ‘There is no more time. Please say you will go.’
